Greetings! My name is Watson and I am a delightful 1 year old Tibetan Terrier looking for a forever home. I have really handsome markings that make it look like I’m wearing gray pants, a black jacket, a white tie, and small white gloves. Since my grooming visit, people on the street stop to compliment me, which I enjoy because I like meeting new friends. I have hair and have not shed at all in my foster home, so I am likely a good fit for people with allergies. I also don’t chew on things at home as long as I have some fun toys to enjoy. I absolutely LOVE my squeaky toys and enjoy puzzles that involve figuring out how to get food. I am house trained and know a few basic commands like “sit”, “stay”, “come”, and that the clicker means food. They don’t know a lot about my past but they think I might have been left alone a lot because I really prefer being with my humans and sometimes appear a bit puzzled in new situations, as if I am not sure how I am supposed to act. Because of this, I would be best with older children and a gentle but experienced owner who can help me feel secure as I learn. For example, I’m little bit unsure about other doggies but am more relaxed and interested in learning how to make dog friends when I am with someone who makes me feel safe. It’s unclear but I probably won’t make many cat friends because I really like chasing them. Above all, I am looking for a home that provides me with exercise and mental stimulation, so if you want a buddy for activities like running, bicycling, hiking, or exploring, I am your dog! Since I am so light on my toes and learn so fast, people think I would be a great candidate for agility and obedience training. After all that, I would love to unwind with you and get some belly rubs. 🙂
I have been neutered, microchipped, test heart worm negative, and am up to date on shots.
