Wilbur is our mop headed handsome poodle Bob Ross impersonator. With an afro that will make any curly haired human jealous, this sweet loving boy is an icon! Wilbur is about 8 years old and 15 lbs. He loves other dogs and cats- but is also happy being your only pet. Wilbur found himself as a stray in NYC and then in the city shelter. We are not exactly sure how a pup like him becomes a stray, but we are sure he was abandoned.
Wilbur is blind and deaf. However, he does get around very well. It will take him a little time to adjust to surroundings. Once he does get used to it, this little man miraculously navigates the world. He is affectionate, but able to be independent. Moreover, Wilbur LOVES the sun. He lets it shine on his beautiful hair and lighten his soul. He is really an inspiration!
Wilbur would be great in any peaceful home. Ideally, no small children because of his vision and hearing limitations. Wilbur is completely housebroken and trustworthy in the home. He never found himself in mischief- or was never caught!
