Clyde is a stunning Saint Bernard boy. At only 2 years old, Clyde is blind and suffered more horror that one can imagine. He and his partner, Bonnie, were discharged breeding dogs at a puppy mill headed for the dog meat slaughter house. When rescuers arrived at the puppy mill, they were left shocked and overwhelmed with despair. It was only -25C (-13F) outside. Clyde and many others were left to die outside in the freezing temperatures. After enduring a lifetime of neglect, Clyde will never know pain and suffering again. Unfortunately, Bonnie did not survive the abuse and passed away shortly after rescue.
After receiving medical assessment, grooming, and care, Clyde is healing and gaining much needed weight. He is preparing for his trip to join us here in the states and needs your help!
Incredibly patient, kind, and resilient, Clyde gets along with other animals and people. He just loves attention, affection, and learning that humanity can be good. When he arrives, Clyde will need a loving home.
WARNING: The videos of his rescue are graphic.
We are desperate for sponsorship! Flying Clyde to the states will cost $2500. This does not include other fees and permit charges.
