***FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP***
Bonnie is a sweet dog, calm, and full of affection. She does remarkably well with children and cats. She just ignores felines! Extremely playful with other dogs, Bonnie would do best with a happy and patient male dog. This girl is a doll. Clearly, she had a tough or sheltered past, though. She also has a scar between her shoulder blades resembling a burn scar. We do not know the truth behind it; and, Bonnie would prefer to forget it. However, she does adjust quickly. Bonnie would love to sit next to you on the couch. She will approach your lap, turn upside down, wiggle her belly, and give gentle kisses. What’s not to love? Bonnie needs her human and canine Clydes, perhaps a child to grow up with. She is a young girl with an old spirit. She does well in the car as well, just sits, looks out the window, and lets the world go by- probably thinking about something, we assume. At about 30 lbs and 2 years old, she is the perfect companion for any home size.
*Back story*
Bonnie was part of a BONDED pair. Her brother, Clyde was with her in the shelter. Then, a family came to the shelter and ADOPTED Clyde, leaving Bonnie behind. Her entire world shattered when they walked out of the shelter without her. Inevitably, Bonnie was on the euthanasia list; her time was up. After all softhearted Bonnie endured; it was time for her new beginning. The foster that stepped up for her backed out moments after her rescue.
