We need a foster for this sweet girl! Won’t you please help her! She doesn’t deserve to live homeless for another day. Millie is a sweet heart looking for a loving home and family.

Millie is a sweetheart – please help us find a home for her! A co-worker and I found her starving in mid-January in the woods next door to our office building. She was skin and bones when we found her and we honestly thought she wouldn’t make it. We feed and water her every weekday and have treated her for ticks and fleas. She has gained quite a bit and definitely is to a healthier weight. She is shy, loves to eat, is always laying in the sunshine, and likes to be loved on. She has not shown aggression and gets along with other dogs that have come around, as far as children she has never been around them that I know of so I’m not sure. I have tried to place her in 4 other rescues but none had room and everyone says that an “adult pit” is hard to place. We have also exhausted asking every person we know pretty much. I cannot adopt her because I am pregnant and my husband says “no” and my co-worker rents a room and they do not allow dogs. I know of 3 people besides myself that would pitch in and help sponsor/ make a donation for her food, medical, etc. expenses. She is black and white, small/ medium build, about 1 ½ feet tall from ground to her back, is probably about 4 or 5 in age, and weighs approximately 30-40lbs.
