Here’s MASON, a pug at the tender age of about 4 years old. This is one fantastically handsome man! He was dumped in a HIGH KILL SHELTER where killing dogs is done without second thoughts or blinks. A team member found him in the shelter, and we had to pull him! There was no choice, really. With one look at his face and tail its really no wonder why we found him so irresistible. Mason is now in a very temporary foster home. His foster mom proudly reports that he enjoys walking on a leash, shopping (finally a male that loves shopping!), and car rides. Mason is also a great listener and knows basic commands. What a catch! Let’s face it a baby like this comes around only once in a lifetime! He enjoys playing with dogs; however, if a dog does not want to play with him, Mason respects their wishes and redirects his attention elsewhere. He shows the same kind consideration and courtesy to cats as well. Although Mason adores love and affection, he is still too busy exploring his new found freedom to want to be picked up.
