LUCY AND ETHEL ADOPTED 3/10/13 LIVING FOR EVER FREE IN CT

Two peas in a sibling pod, we think so! TPR hit the jackpot AGAIN with the new family for the girls. The new family renamed the girls to Athena and Bailey. Right at the same moment we were in dire need for a new home for the girls, their new mom and dad were looking to adopt a set of bonded siblings. This happened through face book networking. Bailey and Athena had a plethora of health problems from a broken leg to mange, and their new parents decided that was all the more reason they needed to adopt these two fantastically special girls. They are taking away the pain the girls endured from abuse in their former life by loving them into their path of forever.

Lucy (black) and Ethel (brindle) are two 8-week-old sisters that we rescued together from a kill shelter. These two partners in crime were dumped at the shelter with their 5 siblings. Those 5 were rescued; however, because these 2 girls were black and thus deemed less adoptable, they were left behind in their cells. Let’s show these girls that black is beautiful not matter what. They are cavity-inducing sweetness wrapped in a puppy package. These pittie mix girls are awaiting their happily ever after. At this young of an age, they should have never endured so much hardship. Thankfully, they are lucky. They made it out of the shelter, which is difficult for black dogs or pit mixes. The odds were stacked against them, but they persevered. Consider one (or both!) of these velvety pups for your home and family! You will not be disasppointed!
