BUFFY ADOPTED 11/11/12 LIVING FOREVER FREE IN PA
Today petite Buffy was embraced by warm and loving arms of her forever Daddy! Her new home is gorgeous and she will be spoiled rotten. How this angel ended up in a kill shelter we will never understand. Today she sleeps in her cozy home with her new bed and toys!
This is our Yorkie princess, Buffy. She is a super sweet Yorkshire terrier that was dumped in a high kill shelter. This girl is about 1.5 years old, loves dogs and cats, and adores human company. Why would someone dump this cute little girl that could easily fit into your favorite purse? Well, it’s because she has luxating patellas. This is hardly a serious condition and only requires you to keep a close eye on her. She could need surgery, and our team is evaluating her for that need. If she does need it, Twenty Paws will get her the operation and bring her back to complete health. The vet remains optimistic that this is only a minor case and she will not need any medical intervention. That being said, Buffy maintains a bright spirit that is flawlessly complemented with her gorgeous locks. The only thing her little knees might prevent her from doing is slaying vampires during the nighttime. That hobby is a distant memory now. Buffy now looks forward to meeting her kindred human spirit, one that will not dump her at a shelter/killing facility because she has a slight imperfection. However, isn’t it our imperfections that make us idiosyncratically perfect?
