BUDDY ADOPTED 9/29/12 LIVING FOREVER FREE IN BROOKLYN, NY
Buddy, a 4/5 year old lab, pulled from the Yonkers Animal Shelter was adopted this Saturday by a loving family. He bonded instantly with his new parents and enjoys daily 3 mile walks in the morning. This boy was abandoned and tied to a shelter gate in the middle of the night and left with a biscuit. He CHEWED through is leash and SAT there waiting for his owners to return. Now, he hit the jackpot. Buddy has a home with a large yard, eclectic family, delicious food, and all the love the world has to offer. He will never know the feeling of abandonment again. His mom told us that at about 3am every night he wakes up to check to see if his parents are still in their bed safe and sound. Clearly he really wants to make sure he does not lose them! Buddy, dont worry! They are yours forever!

This face is begging for someone to please come get him This beautiful dog is a Black Lab named Buddy…His owners tied him to the shelter fence and left him a bowl of food decorated with biscuits as a farewell gift ( he didn’t eat a thing) He chewed thru his leash and then he sat all night,waiting for his person to return…he could have gone away,but he just waited in vain…..For three days,he wouldn’t come out of the run..he was so scared of the barking …Finally,yesterday ,he said “enough” and he came out and played…he fetches the ball and drops it at your feet in true Lab fashion…he gives kisses and he loves to be pet,but he still wont eat the food…Today, I brought roast beef and turkey and he wouldn’t eat that…The manager tried different types of dog food to no avail..Poor dog.
